This privacy policy covers the social media scheduling and publishing tool operated by Stacey Stormes ("I," "me," "my") for managing content across my own social media accounts, including accounts for La Lumière Verte, Sense Conflux, and my personal artist practice. This tool is self-hosted software (Postiz, an open-source scheduling application) that I run on my own server. It is a personal-use tool, not a public product or service offered to other users.

What This Tool Does

The tool lets me connect my own social media accounts and schedule, draft, and publish content to them from one place. It does not collect information from visitors, customers, or any member of the public — the only accounts it accesses are ones I personally own and administer.

Accounts and Data This Tool Accesses

‍ ‍

When I connect a platform (such as Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, YouTube, Bluesky, or TikTok) to this tool, I authorize it through that platform's own official login and permission system (OAuth). Depending on the platform, this may give the tool access to:

• Posting and publishing content (text, images, and video) on my behalf

• Reading basic account and page/profile information needed to post correctly

• Viewing post performance statistics, where the platform provides this

The tool does not access private messages, contacts, or any data belonging to other people who follow or interact with these accounts, beyond what the platform itself makes available through its standard API (for example, public post statistics).

How Your Data Is Used

‍ ‍

Any data the tool accesses is used solely to prepare, schedule, and publish content to my own connected accounts, and to show me the status and performance of that content. It is not used for advertising, resold, or shared with data brokers.

Data Storage and Security

‍ ‍

This tool runs on a private server that I control (hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, accessed through a Cloudflare Tunnel for secure connections). Login credentials for connected platforms are stored as encrypted access tokens issued by each platform, not as plain passwords. I am the only person with administrative access to this server.

Data Sharing

‍ ‍

I do not sell, rent, or share any data accessed through this tool with third parties, except:

‍ ‍

• The social media platforms themselves (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, YouTube, Bluesky, TikTok, etc.), as required for the tool to function

• Infrastructure providers necessary to run the server (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for hosting, Cloudflare for secure network routing)

• Canva, when used to prepare graphics or video for a post

None of these providers use this data for their own advertising or resell it.

Data Retention

‍ ‍

Scheduled and published post content, along with connected-account access tokens, is retained on my server for as long as I continue using the tool for that account. I can disconnect a platform or delete stored content at any time, which removes the associated access token and stops the tool from accessing that account.

Your Rights and Choices

Because this tool only manages accounts I personally own, there are no third-party users whose data it processes. If you have questions about how a specific piece of content or account data is handled, you can reach out using the contact information below.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy if how the tool operates changes — for example, when adding a new connected platform. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
